Kadir Has University, founded in 1997 under the leadership of the prominent philanthropist and industrialist Kadir Has, is one of Turkey's most prestigious private universities. The university's main campus is a unique architectural monument located in the former Cibali tobacco factory building (1884) on the Golden Horn. The restoration of this building was awarded the prestigious Europa Nostra prize, highlighting the university's commitment to preserving cultural heritage and integrating it into the modern educational process.
